Are iGPSGIS and iCMTGIS compatible with iOS 5?

In general iGPSGIS and iCMTGIS will run with iOS 5. A couple users did find that since upgrading their iPADs to iOS 5 they were unable to change the symbols or colors of any shapefiles/topics anymore.
We verified this problem. A work-around is to tap the Feature then use the Feature Properties tool to change the symbol or pattern of the selected Feature.
If you have PC-GIS 09, you can use it to set up the Topic symbols then transfer the .pmp file to iCMTGIS so you can use those Topic symbols/patterns in the iCMTGIS.
If you experience any other problem while using iGPSGIS or iCMTGIS with iOS 5, please let us know by adding a comment to this post. Thank you.
I am also having trouble changing the colors of shape files on my iPad 2. I have upgraded to iOS 5 and have the newest version of iCMTGIS. Let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this.
The workaround does not work, as soon as you click on another feature, the one you just changed, goes back to the way it was.
The work-around is to change the symbol for each individual Feature.
The update to iOS5 has caused the symbol assignment not to work at the Topic level.
Two possible alternatives:
1) Use the PC-GIS 09 software and make the Topic symbol assignment using PC-GIS 09 then transfer the job file to iCMTGIS.
2) Wait for iCMTGIS Version 2 that is to be released next year, which will make the Topic symbol assignment work with the then current iOS
version.
