Can I use iGPSGIS and iCMTGIS for geocaching?

Unlike the CMT Field CE applications, the iGPSGIS and iCMTGIS do not provide navigation functions. Nevertheless, you could still digitize your destination location on the iGPSGIS or iCMTGIS and use it as a guide to help you get to it.

Suppose you are given the coordinates of a location. You could start a job file in iGPSGIS or iCMTGIS and create a Point Topic in it. Then you could use the Add Point Manually function to add a new point.

With that point highlighted, select the Feature Properties tool to display the coordinates of the newly added point. Now, overwrite the displayed coordinates with those of the location where the treasure is hidden. Then your goal would be to approach the target location. Of course, it will help tremendously if you also load a background map that shows the streets, the hills, the rivers, etc. The more detailed the background map, the better.
