What to do with the “memory full” condition?

Each app that you keep open on your device will use up some run-time memory. The “memory full” error condition will be displayed when there is insufficient memory to run an app. If this is due to having too many apps open, you could close a few of the apps to free up some memory.

To do so, double-click the Home button to display all the running apps at the bottom of the screen. Hold down on one of the apps and you will see a “-” sign appear by each app icon. Tap on the “-” sign on the icons for the apps you wish to stop. Then tap once on the Home button to exit this mode.

The above procedure is for stopping a running app. It will not remove the app from your device. Make sure you follow the procedure exactly as described so as not to inadvertently remove an app from your device.
