Can a Google Earth map image be turned into a .pim file for use on iPad or iPhone?

Yes. You can use PC-GIS to capture a geo-referenced Google Earth map image. The captured image will be saved as a .jpg file on your PC. It will also be displayed in the PC-GIS Map View.

Then you can convert the displayed map into a .pim file for use on your iCMTGIS II for iPad, iGPSGIS II for iPhone, or Deed Calls Pro for iPad by following the method described in a previous post titled “How to prepare a .PIM image file on PC-GIS?” As the desired map is already displayed, you will start at Step 2 of the instructions.
