How to display areas in hectares in Farming GPS GIS?

“I just recently purchased your farming GPS GIS app and cannot seem
to figure out where to go to change the unit of measure? In our farm we use hectare, and the app is in acres. ”

In our apps (such as Farming GPS GIS, Forester GPS GIS, iCMTGIS II, iGPSGIS II, Deed Calls Pro, Utility Data Collection, etc.) the displayed area unit matches the selected distance unit. When you use feet as the distance unit, areas are displayed in Acres. When you use meters as the distance unit, areas are displayed in Hectares.

To change the unit of measure, first tap on the Main Menu icon then tap on Setup then select Unit and Angle System.

Here you can select Unit to be Meters. You can also select the angle unit (e.g. DMS or Degrees) and angle system (Azimuth or Bearing), as well as the elevation system (MSL or Ellipsoidal).

Tap on OK to save your settings.
