Can Deed Calls & Stakeout and Deed Calls – Area – Perimeter share data files?

A land surveyor using Deed Calls & Stakeout asked if there was an economical way of providing his clients with the deed calls data to enable them to go out and see where they are in relation to their property lines.

As the Deed Calls – Area – Perimeter app can read the .dcf files created by the Deed Calls & Stakeout app, the clients could purchase the less expensive Deed Calls – Area – Perimeter app and use it to view the deed plot.

The current Deed Calls – Area – Perimeter app does not provide the Orientation field to reorient a deed plot. Therefore, the client will see the exact same plot as the surveyor only if the deed plot has the correct orientation without needing a non-zero value entered into the Orientation field in Deed Calls & Stakeout. However, we’ve just received news from our software programmers that the next update to the Deed Calls – Area – Perimeter app will provide the ability to change the orientation of a deed plot.
