Question about changing symbology in iCMTGIS II after importing Shapefiles

“Is there a way to import a point .shp and change the symbology in iCMTGIS for all the points instead of selecting and defining each one individually? Doing this would allow me to quickly differentiate between reference trees and cruise plots that are displaying as the default import symbol.”

Yes, you can change the symbols for all the points after importing the points from Shapefiles.

The second icon on the right side of the tool bar at the top of the main Map View screen is the Topic View icon.

Tap on the Topic View icon to display the Topic layers.

Double-tap on the symbol for the Topic of the points that you have imported. In the displayed Point Pattern Dialog, select the desired symbol, color and size. The symbol for a Topi c layer applies to all the Features on that Topic layer.

The above procedure also works in iGPSGIS II, Utility Data Collection, Farming GPS GIS II, Farming GPS GIS II, Forester GPS GIS and Forester GPS GIS II.
