In iGPSGIS app, can I import my own GeoTIF file as a background map? The iGPSGIS support image or not?

iGPSGIS II for iPhone uses Apple Map as background map when there is wi-fi connection. You could use the cached Map when you work out there in the field without wi-fi connection.

iGPSGIS II does not provide the ability to load GeoTif files. There is an optional back-office software program called PC-GIS 09 that will let the users convert geo-referenced images (such as *.tif, *.ecw, *.sid) into a format (*.pim) that can be loaded into iGPSGIS II.

Ditto for iCMTGIS II, Utility Data Collection, Forester GPS GIS II and Farming GPS GIS II for the iPad.

We will soon release iCMTGIS III for the iPad that will let the users load GeoTif directly into the app.
