Using a spreadsheet in the Wetland – Stakeout app

A user is trying the Wetland – Stakeout app for collecting basal area data in the forests in Queensland, Australia. They use formulas in the spreadsheet component to audit the tree harvest operation.

They want to know if the number keypad could be kept up all the time. In our apps the pop-up keyboard is context-sensitive. In the Edit mode, the number keypad will be displayed whenever you tap on a numeric field. It will be turned off when you are on a field containing a drop-down list.

They also want to know if they can make the default cell size of the table data entry area larger. You can increase the value in the Height field on the Layout page for the spreadsheet component. Then the cells will be taller. You can drag the handle of the column of cells to make the cells wider.
