An important function to look for in a GPS/GIS application program is the ability to edit a Feature that has been previously recorded to correct an error or to change or add attribute information. Many of our iOS apps provide this capability.
A number of our apps provide the Move Node function. You could use it to move a Point Feature or to move a node of a Line/Area Feature.
Some of our apps provide the Delete Node and Insert Node functions, allowing you to better modify the shape of a Line or Area Feature.
In apps that provide a Sheet View, you can modify the displayed values for the Feature Attributes.
As for the coordinates of a point or node, you could change them via the Feature Properties screen. iGPSGIS II, iCMTGIS-II, iCMTGIS III, iCMTGIS PRO, Forester GPS GIS III, Farming GPS GIS III and Utility Data Collection app will also let you use GPS to re-log the position of a Point Feature. To do so, first select that Point Feature then call up the Feature Properties screen. Then tap the “Update” button, specify the session time for collecting the data then tap the “Start” button.
Of course, if you no longer need a certain Feature, you could simply delete it.
