Where to get topo maps for use in iCMTGIS III, iCMTGIS PRO or PC-GIS?

There are free legacy topo maps that you can download from the USGS. First go to

http://ngmdb.usgs.gov/maps/TopoView/

then click on the Topo View link.

Select the DRG map scale.
Click on the area of interest, then click on GEOTIFF.

The US Forest Service provides DRG maps at
http://data.fs.usda.gov/geodata/rastergateway/states-regions/states.php

Many state agencies offer free downloads of digital topographic maps for their state. For example,

Some universities offer DRG maps for free download. The University of Washington provide DRG maps at

http://gis.ess.washington.edu/data/raster/drgclip/

Some agencies provide DOQQ’s in MRSID format. You can use PC-GIS 9 or PC-GIS X to convert them into .pim image files to load into a number of our iOS apps (iGPSGIS II, iCMTGIS II/III/PRO, Farming GPS GIS II/III, Forester GPS GIS II/III, Utility Data Collection).

GeoCommunity provides various types of GIS and geospatial data at http://data.geocomm.com/catalog/index.html. You can download DEM (Digital Elevation Model) files for free (Green icon). The DRG (TIF or MRSID format) and DOQQ (MRSID format) data products can be purchased (Gold icon).
