Back up your job data to your desk-top computer

Even if you are not using PC-GIS to work with the GPS/GIS data you have saved on your iOS app, it is a good idea to store a copy of the data files on your PC or Mac computer. You can do so by using iTunes.

After syncing iTunes with your device, click on the Apps tab and scroll down to find the documents folder for your app in the File Sharing section. Select the files you wish to save to the PC then click the Save To button and select the desired folder.
To get a file from the PC to the documents folder of the app, click on the Add button then go to the folder to select the files you need.

When copying a file to a destination that already contains a file with the same name, you will be prompted to confirm that you really wish to overwrite the existing file. It is your responsibility to make sure you are not overwriting a file with one that contains less data or no data at all.
